President Abraham Lincoln proposed ending slavery by 1900:

I’m getting sick and tired of that spineless, POS McConnell. The only thing he has done well is judges and he isn’t doing much on those right now. He back channel maneuvering has lost Republican senate seats, he often goes against what the President wants and seems incapable of actually fighting the Democrats or actually leading the Republican senators.
