Bible in a Year:
I know whom I have believed.
When Carol wrote that her husband went into the outstretched arms of Jesus, hundreds of people responded, with many thanking Carol for their openness. One person remarked that hearing about dying from a Christian point of view was healthy, for we all have to die someday. Another said that although shed never met the couple personally, she couldnt express how much encouragement shed received through their witness of trusting God.
Although Papa John sometimes felt excruciating pain, he and Carol shared their story so they could demonstrate how God upheld them. They knew their testimony would bear fruit for God, echoing what Paul wrote to Timothy when he suffered: I know whom I have believed, and am convinced that he is able to guard what I have entrusted to him until that day (2 Timothy 1:12).
God can use even the death of a loved one to strengthen our faith in Him (and the faith of others) through the grace we receive in Christ Jesus (v. 9). If youre experiencing anguish and difficulty, know that He can bring comfort and peace.
How have you experienced Gods joy even in times of deep sorrow? How do you explain this? How could you share what you learned with others?
Heavenly Father, fan into flame the gift of faith in me, that I might share with love and power my testimony of how You work in my life.
Hi Everybody!
(((HUGS)))
If that’s the west gate they’ve done some SERIOUS upgrades since I left there in 1988.
Thank you

Good evening, Mayor, and thank you for today’s sustenance for body and soul.
Monday! Hope you had a good start to your week.
Good evening, ML...((HUGS))...any adventures with Blue today?
Good evening, radu...any relief from the heat? Will the rain find you?
Today has gotten sunnier and sunnier and pushing 70.
Today’s errors were less than a dozen, and all mine, of course, but so MANY LESS than the last 3 weeks. All have to do with the new company. BUT...progress, and I’m off to check for more issues.
Thanks for a great road/air trip, lauren!
Howdy, Kathy.
Less than a dozen errors? That’s a huge improvement! Don’t look too hard for more issues! LOL
Still a sauna during the day here. Once again, there was rain in the mountains close by but nothing here. The radar looks promising for tomorrow though. We just hope it holds up and gives us a good dose of rain.
