Maybe we should state that those that kneel before the game appear to be kneeling obedience to the flag and this country.
They are kneeling in obedience and servitude to a system of capitalism that allows them to play sports and make millions of dollars.
So kneel. Kneel before zod.
I wonder how many of these athletes who are kneeling during the national anthem are planning on running for political office after they retire.

“Really?” drawled the old man, sardonically. “Say, do you murder, cook, and eat children?”

I think the NFL is Dead for the 2020 Season. Probably a good thing as Politics has invaded it. Maybe by next year these players will value their profession more than Politics. They were all over paid anyway.

I am really sick of how sports have become entangled with politics. It sucks all of the fun from the whole thing.
Every weekend, our family went to Saturday football games in Evanston, at Northwestern, my dad’s law school alma mater. Then on Sundays, it was Soldier Field for the Bears.
Growing up, my sister and I went to every major league sports team in Chicago: the Bulls (with Michael Jordan!), the White Sox, the Cubs, the Blackhawks, and of course, “Da Bears.”
Oh, and by the way, good for Mr. Tuitt. I like a man who’s patriotic.
