Inslee:
“This demobilization means Washingtonians no longer have to worry about the White House's aim to provoke confrontation and undermine peaceful protests,” said Inslee. “Those peacefully protesting have raised the public’s consciousness of the urgent need for racial justice, and I have no doubt they will continue to use their voices to call for action. We must continue making progress toward a better and more just Washington for everyone.”

This guy.....Washingtonians my ass!
Seattle is not all of Washington, just like Dallas/Fort Worth is not all of Texas or, Denver all of Colorado.

I guess the next election will tell us where we really are.

I was born in Washington. Eastern Washington but I grew up in Western Washington and boy I’m glad I don’t live there now.
When my husband died 14 years ago I thought I would go back to my youth and buy one of those floating houses on Lake Union. Just like in Sleepless in Seattle. I had lived in one of those floating houses when I was around 20. I was actively seeking one.
I’m glad I moved to Florida instead, after a few years in Skagit County. Believe me if you find a conservative there in Western Washington state give them a big hug because they need it.
