Apple, Amazon, Facebook, and Google have donated vast sums of money to members of the House Judiciary Committee’s antitrust subcommittee in advance of its Big Tech hearing on Wednesday.
The House Judiciary Subcommittee on Antitrust, Commercial, and Administration Law will hold a hearing on Wednesday, which will feature testimony from Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, Apple CEO Tim Cook, Google CEO Sundar Pichai, and Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg.
This arises as Republicans and Democrats have become increasingly critical of the big tech’s dominance on the Internet; however, big tech companies’ donations to members of the House Judiciary subcommittee on antitrust may undermine potential efforts to find antitrust solutions against the power and influence of these big tech companies.

My, what a difference a day makes! The committee today is actually letting the tech titans answer questions! Could it be that millions of dollars have been donated to the very people asking today’s questions.
I thought that bribery and coercion were illegal. Should not these criminals be in orange jump suits awaiting trial, along with their enablers?

Accepting it should be illegal. If you took a dime, you should recuse yourself.
Putting them in prison wouldn’t do diddly squat for the problem, they would just be put up in 5 star luxury cells with separate kitchens (for their chefs), sitting rooms, libraries, and entertainment complexes, plus the plush bedrooms for their whores.
The only solution is to drag them out of the halls of Congress and the Senate and publicly hang them from the nearest lamp post or tree branch.
Let the sh!t and piss run down their legs as they slowly strangle to death on public display.
After that exhibition only honest, honorable people would be willing to take the risk to run for these offices.
I was attempting to avoid the obvious.
