Some people were doing this at the summer camp where my sons and I worked earlier this month. The guards were obviously homemade, maybe a group craft project.
Compared to wearing the standard cloth mask over your nose and mouth, they're a breezy option. I expect to see Star Wars enhancements appear as the summer turns into September.
Same unorepared knee jerk morons who made fun of me as a “gun nut” when in the 90s I stockpiled masks and gas masks now scream at us we must wear them to prevent epidemic... idiotic lemmings
I saw a woman yesterday with some sort of wrap over her hair, a mask covering her face and mouth, something such as a kerchief under that which draped her throat and the plastic welder’s mask as I call it. Four items.
I was in a shop in Cocoa yesterday, and a 20-something girl walked up to me and made sure I knew about wearing a face shield in the future. I pulled my mask down and said “thank you Karen.” The look of horror on that face was worth the price of admission.
