Undoubtedly, the biggest medical scandal of our age is the coordinated suppression of the science that proves hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) is not only a safe medicine, it is clinically proven to treat many serious diseases other than malaria and COVID-19.
Below we show the evidence from the scientific literature on Google Scholar that HCQ works against many cancers, diabetes, HIV, herpes, rheumatoid arthritis, Lupus, Lyme disease, etc.

Hydroxychloroquine is the modern, synthesized form of quinine, a perfectly safe treatment for malaria used in the Indian subcontinent for centuries. British soldiers, stationed in malaria-threatened India during the Empire, adopted the local remedy quinine in the form of tonic water imbibed in the tipple gin and tonic as a prophylactic against malaria. They called the mixture tonic water because the word “tonic” means a medicinal substance taken to give a feeling of vigor or well-being.
As a prophylactic gin and tonic (quinine) saved millions of lives.

I do drink tonic water every day with zinc and vitamin C. So far no ill effects and no Rona.

Kind of. It is a zinc inosphore (intra cellular) which lets zinc get into the cells vs the bloodstream. Zinc inhibits viral growth ONLY inside cells that virus' attach to.

While there is extremely limited data, the following “cocktail” may have a role in the prevention/mitigation of COVID-19 disease. This cocktail is cheap, safe, and widely available.
• Vitamin C 500 mg BID and Quercetin 250-500 mg BID [1-7]
• Zinc 75-100 mg/day (acetate, gluconate or picolinate). Zinc lozenges are preferred. After 1 month, reduce the dose to 30-50 mg/day. [1,8-12]
• Melatonin (slow release): Begin with 0.3mg and increase as tolerated to 2 mg at night [13-16]
• Vitamin D3 1000-4000 u/day [17-24]
• Optional: Famotidine 20-40mg/day [25]
Symptomatic patients (at home):
• Vitamin C 500 mg BID and Quercetin 250-500 mg BID
• Zinc 75-100 mg/day
• Melatonin 6-12 mg at night (the optimal dose is unknown)
• Vitamin D3 2000-4000 u/day
• Optional: ASA 81 -325 mg/day
• Optional: Famotidine 20-40mg/day
• Optional: Ivermectin 150-200 ug/kg (single dose) [26-28]
• In symptomatic patients, monitoring with home pulse oximetry is recommended. Ambulatory desaturation < 94% should prompt hospital admission. [29]
• Not recommended (yet): chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine. The use of these agents is extremely controversial but shows benefit. Notwithstanding, the retraction of the Lancet paper,[30] there is a paucity of data to support the use of these drugs to inject zinc into cells, thus inhibiting viral replication. [31-35] It is possible that the efficacy of these drugs requires the co-administration of Zinc. [36,37]

I drink about 3/4 glass of tonic a day. I started after Pres Trump mentioned HCQ for the virus.
I used to have nasty cramps in my calves when I walked a bit. But after starting the tonic, the cramps have almost disappeared. This morning I walked 2.2 miles up and down hils with NO CRAMPS!
When I go to a party or a wedding, or when I am the driver, I ask for a glass of plain tonic water with a lime. Nobody knows I’m not drinking.
But rather than gin and tonic, I prefer white rum and tonic.

One of my wife’s friends, her husband is currently in the hospital struggling with covid. He is obese and not in the best shape. The wife started feeling awful earlier in the week and tested positive. Doc gave her HCQ and zinc and something else. Within 24 hours, no fever, aches, or any symptoms of covid.
