Perhaps Romney is confusing absentee voting with vote by mail. When someone votes absentee it is because they have requested a ballot and there are signatures required as well as other means of verification. This should not result in great numbers of ballots to be counted. When these democrats (and some Rinos) talk about vote by mail, they mean that a ballot is sent to every registered voter (perhaps deceased, or moved out of the area). This will result in an overwhelming number of ballots to be returned. This is only one of many problems with “Vote by Mail”. I think the confusion about this is often intentional.
