The US Postal Service is not a reliable part of the chain of custody for delivery to qualified registered voters, or return of valid and legitimately marked ballots. And the method of addressing the ballots to the correct and eligible voters by the county clerks is a very uncertain chain in and of itself.
What could possibly go wrong? Apparently nobody wants to address the concerns of the adults in the room.
As much as I loathe Romney, does he have a point? Can we actually go back to the person to verify that it was actually the person who voted and ensure we keep dead people from voting etc.? I am just not sure if it is doable in some states though.
