I read the headline, and I actually thought that the police had a “rescue pig”. Sort of like a rescue dog, only a pig. I had to read the article to realize that “rescue” was a verb, not an adjective.

This is way beyond disgusting. Pigs are very intelligent and often kept as pets. To kill a pig, just to make an insanely STUPID statement about police, is absolutely heinous. Compounding the horror of this situation, the slaughter of the pig was very likely going to be done by some ignorant idiot flailing around with a knife or sword instead of by someone who knew how to humanely dispatch it.

The mayor of Portland, the governor, and anyone even remotely related with this incident should absolutely be tied to a post and have the living _____ beaten out of them with a cat o'nine tails, then allowed to just drop. Anyone setting a fire, setting off a bomb, injuring another person in any way should receive the same treatment, plus being marked across their ugly face with indelible ink, so that the world can identify this dangerously stupid individual and shun them. I simply cannot believe that this garbage is still raging on, completely untrammeled by the so-called authorities who violate their oaths of office with every breath.
