I think placing a person in a prone position may make it easier to breathe. Who knows, the guy might have died earlier if they hadn’t restrained him.

And the early narrative was that the cops didn’t give a hoot about his condition, while the reality is that they did call EMTs to the scene.

The breathing issue, one of the top six problems associated with the use of Fentanyl....was already starting as he sat in the backseat of the police cruiser. I think they could have laid him on the ground with no restraint, and he was going to die before the EMT guys got there.

Scott Adams, aka Dilbert, said the same thing a couple of weeks ago when he first saw the shorter film.

He said if they laid him flat his throat would shut off his breathing, So if you can't keep him upright, rescuerers lay such victims on their stomach with their head to the side

Adams lost his stepson to fentanyl overdose and crusades about china being behind that epidemic..

I also heard them trying to reason with him, telling him that they'd roll down the windows of the police car if he'd just sit down inside... I only saw the first 9 minutes, but it was clear they were trying to reason with him and restrain him without brutality. But he was just flipping out.
