The problem with "Hound Dog" is not that Elvis Presley sang someone else's song. It's that no dogs ever saw a penny of the proceeds.

"The Star-Spangled Banner" was written by a white man. Does that mean that only white men may sing the national anthem at sporting events?

Should non White people not use electricity, cars, planes, trains, telephones, televisions, the internet, satellites, modern medicine, universities, agricultural machinery, fertilizers, air conditioning, central heating, all plastics and even things as mundane as ball point pens?

No? They were all invented by White guys. Therefore their use by non White people is “cultural appropriation” right Lefties?

It seems absurd to me that some people who rave about imaginary “white privilege” call themselves black when their skin is closer to actual white than is the skin of many of those whom they call “caucasian”. I remember segregation and in those days of REAL white privilege those who were 1/8 black tried to pass as white.
