The US Regime Change attempt in Syria, our jacked up sanctions, our theft of Syria’s natural resources, the destruction of cultural, and historical treasures is a disgrace shared by both political parties in the US.

I support the legitimate government of Sovereign Secular Syria, and I abhor what our tax dollars have funded. The imported jihadis, the weapons, the White Helmets faux civil defense, the burning of crops.

It is a disgrace. I am sickened to the core by the pretend virtue act of our State Department, and I am sorry I believed President Trump’s “Out of Syria”, and “no more regime change wars” when I voted for him.

Qamishli’s Christians were treated the same way by the Kurds. Syrian blood is truly on America’s hands.

This is a good description of why the population of the Mediterrenian world plummeted after the Muslim conquest about AD 650-750.

What had been cities became villages or vacant land. Because property rights were not respected by the Muslim conquerors, the agricultural productivity of the coastal areas all around the Mediterrenian plummeted. Much of the areas occupied by the muslims saw there irrigation systems and olive groves and vinyards destroyed.

The population numbers were reduced by 90%, because the land could no longer support them.
