Jerry Falwell Jr. will take a leave of absence from Liberty University

(CNN)Jerry Falwell Jr., the president of Liberty University, has agreed to take an "indefinite leave of absence," according to a statement Friday from the evangelical Christian university.

Falwell, Jr., isn’t a pastor; he’s a lawyer. But you’re right about going elsewhere.

It was not fast enough. If a person in his notable position has not got the good sense to know where to draw the line on fun times, they need to get another job. Falwell needs some time to reorient himself to the realities of his position and his age and a number of other things. Not a high schooler anymore.

I love Franklin Graham. I hope he doesn’t do anything to burst my bubble. He did lead a raucous life in his youth, but when he came around, he did it in a big way. His autobiography, “Rebel With A Cause”, was a great book.

Making fun of underprivileged people while at the same time being vulgar was an insult to the Liberty Godparent Home and the Christian’s who support the foundation. The Home is an alternative for impoverished females who choose not to abort their babies.
