I’m not so sure. The various denominations of Protestants sure aren’t coming back into the fold; rather, the opposite is occurring.
Progressivism is a humanist-Marxist religion, and religion births factions. Each faction takes a different doctrinal view on one or several items, they’re damn sure they’re right and the other factions, or the core theology, is wrong. Then, pride does its thing.
