The real story behind the delay in naming a dem VP candidate is the the options for VP just like the options for President on that side; None Of The Above is the best candidate they have, because the actual humans do not measure up to the ideal - Not Trump.

With the Presidential primary, at least the candidate had to file paperwork and raise money, so the field was somewhat limited. Every shiny star flamed for a while, then burned out and the dems were stuck with Joe Biden. (Yes, I know, the Mayor from Indy is still flaming, but that's another story).

But there is no official primary of initial paperwork to named as a possible VP candidate; your name comes up and that's that. Even with a minimal barrier to entry, the dmes could not come up with a name that inspired any loyalty among the dem voters. A continuation of the trend from 2016, when Hillary came up with Tim Kaine, an empty suit.

But, Kaine is white, and maybe that's the problem with the dem primary; the majority of dems are racist and don't want a person of color on the ticket. Just a thought.

-- Pelosi says many children in our country are , insert smirk here, "food insecure". --

Not starving, just not fattening up. Schools are a critical part of the free food distribution network. For some parents the free food is not necessary to make ends meet, but does make for more creature comforts, drugs, booze, whatever.

That Pelosi holds power for so long says something is seriously broken in how our politicians are placed. Maybe the public is broken that bad - communism was popular with the Pilgrims until they found out it didn't work.

Wallace is immune to ass kickings, just like Juan Williams is. They have a platform, a narrative, and sponsors. They go at it, and care not one bit that thier arguments suck pond water, or even if they get outright caught red-handed in a lie.

Energizer demons, they are. They just keep going, and going, and going ....

As for Trump’s proposal, some thoughts.

First, he is giving those unemployed an extra $400 a week, down from $600. This helps those without a job.

I would add that back when I got laid off from Western Electric, then part of AT&T when the great monopoly was shut down, I too got an extra couple hundred a week in my unemp. check, plus an extra half a year to get a check.

Employers pay money into a fund for federal unemployment pmts. just for this reason. It’s called FUTA and back when I did payroll for Western Electric, insert smile here, it was .08% per gross payroll per pay period. So the extra money is meant to be used to these exact sorts of things.

As for FICA and Medicare.....I got mixed emotions about this. Even more so because Trump said he would extend the removal of these payroll taxes after the first of the year if he was elected.

My biggest concern is, as a former payroll processor, it will be hell on wheels to begin deducting that from paychecks again. You are talking 7.65% increase in gross wages without these deducts. YOU tell Joe Blow down in receiving that as of next week your paycheck will go down almost 8%.

On the other hand, it is for money that, economically, should not be needed until the payees retire. IF they are using these deducts now, for people like me who have already paid all my life, WELL THEY SHOULDN’T BE.

BUT it sure is a way to get money to people who already have a job. And Trump’s declaration that he may keep them stopped, well hey, maybe instead of giving China all this money from our ruling class, such as social security and medicare should be paid by the government in some form and fashion.

Not sure about that but I am mulling it over.

I love the way Trump began with a list of outrageous requests asked for by the government. He gave a list of things the Dems wanted that had nothing to do with the Corona virus.

This is a Trump victory. Bear in mind he isn’t authorizing NEW money in the budget. Payroll taxes come out of paychecks and the unemployment is paid by the FUTA tax.

The biggest lie is that Joe is the one dilly-dallying on the pick decision.

He doesn’t even know what day of the week it is.

There is a puppet master(s) behind Biden and we need to speak out about this.

The American people have a right to know who really is running the White House if Creepy Joe is elected.

Who is it? My bet is on the purple-lipped Muslim.

I think the people behind Biden will pick Susan Rice as VP nominee. Obama is really who will be Pres. if Biden wins. Susan Rice is the conduit to Obama. But Trump is going to win and the GOP retains the Senate and takes the House back, after Trump trumped Pelosi.

we’re headed to Rapid City...any advice? So far plans are to do Rushmore tomorrow, Custer State park and Crazy Horse Tuesday, Badlands Wednesday, and Devils Tower Thursday

It used to be, the only reason for going to Hot Springs was the hot springs pool, naturally warmed spring water, an indoor/outdoor "water park"...

But in the recent past, as they were excavating for a new supermarket, a worker discovered a mammoth bone. All work was stopped and the archeologists moved in.

Now that area is a massive natural history site where many many of the elephants have been found. Take a look at it on your laptop and consider it a unique tour stop...

Then stop in for a dip at "the springs".

I did not see that MLK received the award. It was scrubbed off the internet to protect his name apparently. She did get to him, I thought so but could not confirm it.

My reasoning is that Rice is a Black Vagina. For appearances, that’s all that’s required

An inveterate liar, she can come on the scene and lie 24/7. Her lies will be the campaign

She has no political future and thus unlike the others has nothing to lose. By running and being paid to run, she will actually gain.

I thought the Tomahawk chop was racist.

Easy to mistake Oregon for WA since most don’t know the difference. We are the one who has the worst mayor on the planet and schools have already been closed til Nov. 4th. Wonder why Crazy Kate picked that day?
