Nope. I’m lots smarter than most modern teachers. What teacher worth 2 cents would let a total illiterate have a high school diploma?

In 2003 about 80% of all high school graduates could not read and write above a 4th grade level. And it’s much worse now, which is easy to see, just look at this crappy article.

And the best you can do is make sarcastic remarks when I point that out? The appalling level of illiteracy in journalism and America in general doesn’t bother you?

Why do you think people from places like India and Japan come over here and take jobs Americans would like to have? Because India and Japan have much better education systems than we do. They can do the job, while most Americans who graduated high school in the past 30 years are half a bubble off of totally illiterate and can’t SPELL what the job is...Foreigners will also work cheaper, but that’s another rant.

When I left high school, this country was rated #7 world wide in education. By 1998 when Clinton was in office, we were #17. When Obama was infesting the White House, we had dropped to #28 worldwide. That is abysmal. And yes, Bush made it worse too, I’m not just picking on democrats.

I always find it interesting that when I mention it, some half wit always attacks me, and never says a word about the initial topic. Usually a complete illiterate too...probably a defense mechanism..

You have no idea how many times I’ve seen someone try and insult me because I pointed out the amazing level of illiteracy in journalism, and it turns out they not only can’t spell what they want to rant about, they have no idea when to use the words to, too and two...lose and loose...your and you’re...like you did above...

And one of my pet peeves, using an apostrophe to indicate a plural...you do not have 2 car’s, it’s CARS...no apostrophe...an “s” is used to indicate a plural
...two cars. Not car’s...

And of course they just figure out a way to insult me some more...instead of doing something about it and improving their damn education...

If you have no idea what words to use, it’s a bad idea to start an argument with someone who has an IQ higher than your last 4 high school teachers...they were probably just barely literate themselves.

But you don’t care, you just want to rant a while and throw some insults around...beats admitting you don’t have a stinking clue what you’re talking about.

Education in this country went down the tubes long ago. You and this article are proof. So stop attacking the messenger if you don’t like the message.
