President Trump has labeled today's protesters "anarchists," and rightly so. They stream through the streets, breaking windows, bashing cars, setting fires, blocking highways, occupying city blocks, beating up innocent bystanders, and disobeying and attacking the police. This is not the behavior of peaceful protesters who are only out to express their opinions. It is the work of anarchists bent on destruction.
The question is, what's behind this behavior? Is the violence purposeful, perhaps an effort to defund police; influence this year's presidential election; or bring about a coup at the local, state, or even national level? Or is it violence for the sake of violence?
It's impossible to get inside the minds of individual protesters, and most of those individuals are not very articulate — they can't get beyond chanting three words. So one must infer a motive based on their actions.
To begin, violent protesters have no interest in legitimate protest. They have seized on the death of George Floyd and other grievances as an excuse to engage in violence. And they are not "peaceful." They are instigating violence by attacking the police and destroying property. At the center of their thinking is violence itself. That mindset is the very definition of anarchy.
Anarchy is derived from the Greek word "anarchos," which means "having no ruler." In the absence of all authority, the anarchist can do as he likes: burning, looting, killing, and raping. Because he hates authority, the anarchist's particular target is the police and all others associated with authority. Even friendly officials such as Portland's mayor, Ted Wheeler, are despised because of the positions they hold.

These aren’t children. These are people who are getting $600 per week to live in mothers basement and go out to riots at night. We need to get rid of the unemployment $600. We are literally paying them to riot. This goes for government employees too. Teachers are out there bashing heads and hoping their schools don’t open in the fall.
How to stop them? Try punishment.
If they trash the employers, they’ll not be able to get a job, so they can continue on unemployment that pays better than employment.

IMHO many if not most of these rioters are under the influence of some intoxicant during their nightly riots. Sure the organizers are providing the lunatics with amphetamines and opiods. Over the last fifty years widespread drug use, whether it be “recreational” or addictive has done more to destroy American culture and enhance depravity than any other single factor. Losing the “war on drugs”, that is failing to maintain the high moral standard of sobriety as an essential virtue has as much significance as if the US had lost WW II.
Further more, make sure the punishment hurts. A slap on the wrist won't get the point across that these idiots are doing things that are evil. The point needs to be made.

The police cannot contain this. Thanks to our overwhelmingly marxist-educated, self-indulgent, godless, grossly immoral, and propagandizing media and political leaders, police now have to fear for their jobs, reputations, and families’ safety. If law enforcement cannot enforce the laws to restore peace and order to society, it will be up to the majority of society to do so themselves. A counter-revolution seems increasingly inevitable.

Watching the videos of the Portland rioters you can definitely see that some are crazed on the combination of drugs and evil.
