No, Rand, I’m not a fan of end-runs by fiat or excutive orders, either - I want to see the system work as intended. And it keeps the rabble from stirring the pot without the input of the people. But that governmental armpit of a city has become such a Charlie Foxtrot of Gordian Knot proportions, sometimes it takes a good, singularly administered kick in the ass to get the plumbing flowing again. Well Rand is just being Rand and that’s Ok. I don’t love it but Trump has no choice. He cannot continue to let Pelosi and company blackmail the country.

I’m not a fan of legislating through executive orders either. But Obama did it and John Roberts supported him. Conservatives and libertarians need to wise up - we can either play the game by the prevailing rules, or we can lose the game by trying to stick to obsolete rules the other side completely ignores.
