President Trump said hydroxychloroquine "would be the hottest thing" had he not endorsed the anti-malaria drug as a treatment for COVID-19.
"If I would have said, 'I don't believe in it. It doesn't work,' it would be the hottest thing going right now," he said Tuesday morning.
In an interview on sports radio show Outkick, Trump told host Clay Travis that the drug "causes no problem," citing his own use of hydroxychloroquine as a preventive measure against the virus in May.
"As soon as I came out with it, they said 'Oh, it doesn't work.' They went crazy," Trump added, "They still are. On Twitter, it's number one all the time."
Trump said that Democrats oppose everything he does, specifically hydroxychloroquine and religion.
The president referred to his appearance at St. John's Episcopal Church in Washington, D.C., amid George Floyd protests earlier this summer. On June 1, law enforcement officers used tear gas on protesters in Lafayette Square to clear the park in order to create a path for Trump to walk toward the church, where he held up a Bible to pose for a photo op.
"I held the Bible up in front of the church. They said it was a terrible thing I did," Trump said. "So I said, 'I even affect religion negatively'."

Trump actually did the right thing. HQC would not have had a chance if he didn’t say anything. His gut was actually right with this one.
If it’s actually effective, then they will always find a reason to suppress its use. They want and need the lockdown to continue. An effective treatment or vaccine ruins the whole plan. The closer we get to the election, the more coronamania we are going to see. Yes, it will actually get worse than it already is.
HCQ is literally the “wrench in the gears” for the communist/globalist agenda utilizing this “virus”.
Mr. President, do whatever you can possibly do to make HCQ and over the counter medication and put an end to this demoVirus BS. Then, stand back and watch the demonic hordes howl like the rabid dogs they are.
The truth be known, if the RATs in congress were tested, it would likely show they’ve ALL been on HCQ probably since a week before their colluded/planned virus release date.
There are a lot of folks that likely should be doing the rope dance over this crap...publicly. Better yet, make it a Pay-Per-View event with the proceeds going to those most severely affected by their crap.

I just saw my dermatologist and she told me she had covid bad. She took HQC and it went away pretty quick.

Don't forget that government sites that had, until Jan 2020, said that HCQ had been used for decades in millions of doses and was known to be super safe with only minimal side effects in a small number of people that were easily managed, and suddenly by April those sites said it was an untested dangerous drug that was likely to give you heart attacks and blindness. The deep state docs knowingly and maliciously misled people.
Doctors were still prescribing it for Covid until the Government (we’re here to help) shut it down with the excuse...other people with lupus etc might be denyed...which was a lot of cr**.
That’s why adding Dr. Scott Atlas, a non-government doctor from outside the bubble, to the task force was a critical move. Trump should have done it much sooner frankly.
