It's fascinating to watch these never-Trumpers, these men (mostly) who once claimed to be conservatives. Once upon a time I admired many of them (obviously, I was fooled), but they've exposed themselves as soulless SOBs, and anything but conservatives. All along they were statists, interested only in themselves and what they could suck from the lifeblood of our country.

I did too. Some of them, like George Will way back in the day. But never Bill Kristol. Something about that creepy smile when he'd talk was off putting. He gave a weird vibe. His words were okay, warmongerish of course but nothing like the current level of vitriol he spews. But his facial expression ... he just looked like a creepy fake trying to lure someone into his van with an offer of candy or something.

I just could never like the guy. Turns out my instincts in his case were spot on.
