Howard would have lost even if the Wendys shooting never happened. The news that should get more attention is that no Republican even bothered to run for the job. That is a good indicator that not only is Atlanta a mess but the office will be run the same way just with a different person in charge.
Ask around...just how many Republican-identified lawyers actually live within the Atlanta City area. I doubt if you find more than thirty. Most who work in Atlanta....live beyond the city limits. You find the trend going in most southern metropolis ‘zones’.
