I still can't see why he'd want to kill them and plant drugs to make it look good.

He probably wasn't planning to kill them. He just didn't expect his no-knock home invasion to be resisted by an armed citizen. His plan was more likely just to plant evidence on them, seize their property, and move on with his corrupt career.

In reality he was just doing what typical home invading criminals do. But he was using the police department and the drug forfeiture laws as a cover. That's why there are new charges related to the stealing of funds from the money seized in the drug "investigations" of these corrupt cops.

Some culpability in this should also be assigned to the judge that wrote the blank check for the raid.

Yeah. I’m a “nobody.” Think of three fingers pointed backward, eh?

I think you’re being unfair.

To whom? The lawmen? to Sans-Culotte? To you? Are you taking up someone else's offenses?

If there is evidence destroyed, that’s too bad.

Yup, and if the amount of drugs is so small that it can be 'destroyed' so easily and quickly, the raid probably shouldn't happen in the first place.

Wow. Only a year and a half to finally press charges. Who wants to bet the DA tanks the case and they get off?

Thanks to a police union that feels job #1 is to never let bad things happen to cops, no matter what, “back the blue” is blind. It’s really “we don’t kill THAT many people, come on”.

>> If the cops can’t make a case without “no-knock” raids, thereby endangering the public THEY SERVE, they are incompetent. and should get jobs as mall cops.

There, fixed that.

Malls are not there to serve the public?

To: drop 50 and fire for effect

Ended. Allowing them to continue on any level is just moving the ball up slope temporarily. When they were first approved by the courts they were supposed to be rare, only in cases of extreme expected danger to the officers. 30 odd years later here we are. They gotta end.

One thing that stood out about the raid, was there were no body cameras. The Narcotics Squad was exempt, because they were "undercover" officers. For decades. Goins had been an "undercover" officer for over 30 years!

In which case, he should never have been involved in a raid.

If you are serving a warrant, ESPECIALLY a "no knock" one, then ALL officers present must be in uniform, and with running camera. And any "failure" of a camera must be considered negatively by the jury.

The Tuttles were surprised as there was no reason for a dynamic raid and thought it was a home invasion and shot back. They apparently didn’t hear the “police!” or just reacted.

After a year and a half, six officers have been indicted by a grand jury, charged with 21 felonies.

How many riots did it take to get the indictments? Oh...wait; white victims. Never mind!

Mall cops are rarely armed, and do not have any form of immunity from prosecution for criminal acts.

Wow. Only a year and a half to finally press charges. Who wants to bet the DA tanks the case and they get off?

Goines and Bryant were charged about 7 months out.

About a month later they and the neighbor were charged with Federal charges.

These are additional charges for four more officers.

It takes a while to investigate corruption going back many years.

I expect more charges to come.

The DA says they are in the third phase of the investigation, the details of the actual shooting event.

So they still haven’t actually investigated the shooting?! Yeah, he’s hoping the cops do the “honorable thing” and he never actually has to go to court.

You saud they are incompetent, and they are, It's not the job/ man; it's their attitude that makes them incompetent for a security role. They cannot be trusted!

The DA is a soros plant. She has a turnstile for criminals. Bet she throws the book at the cops.
