Stories like this are the reason why I’ve never bought into that silly “Back the Blue” nonsense.
You can back the blue and hold them accountable for any questionable actions as well. If “back the blue” means don’t question anything they do, then that is silly and unrealistic.
Nor have I. The Police hold the law abiding Citizen in the same degree of contempt as they do the criminal. The “Back the Blue” crows labors under the misconception that if they kiss the Police’s ass good enough they will protect them.
