LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Nevada surpassed 1,000 deaths on Thursday as the state reported 34 new deaths in daily reporting. That puts the state at a total of 1,030 COVID-19 deaths since the pandemic began.

This is why numbers are less important than percentages. And to ad a facet to this, there is plenty of evidence to make the case that a LOT of CV19 deaths are not really CV19 deaths.
On a related note, the US kills over 250 children every year transporting them to and from school, yet we still transport kids to school.
I’m curious how many of the deaths were really from COVID. The count was probably multiplied by a factor of 2 or 3.
Deaths by the virus, or deaths with the virus? They never say, so these deaths need to be audited for false attribution.

I live in northern Nevada. Don’t know anyone who contracted the virus let alone died from it.
Our county of 50,000 or so has THREE COVID-related deaths, a 90-year-old man, a “recently-arrived immigrant” and a woman with a pre-existing fatal condition where COVID was listed as a “contributing factor.”
Americans deserve REAL numbers, not these numbers constantly thrown around and altered in the interest of money and / or politics.
Quick restrict churches even more. They have to get this under control. /s

Doing pretty good. MO was up to 1700 this week. Of course we have a St Louis which is where half or cases & deaths are.
They sure do. Even if the thousand death threshold is real, not played with by lumping other causes of death in with it, COVID is still on a pace with an average year of Nevada chronic lung disease fatals.
And three million people have had their lives irrevocably altered because of it.
Also for reference, new cases are down about 40% in NV over the last three weeks.
They died with CV not from CV.
Why don’t they tell us how many of these people were given HCQ n ZINC n AB within 72 hrs of onset?
They think their special. Lol. 29 other states have over 1,000 deaths.
The governor of NV banned HCQ, so he is responsible for all the deaths personally.

Very interesting fact. Enquiring minds would want to know what the 2020 year-to-date (YTD) count is for Nevada deaths due to (non-COVID related) Chronic Respiratory Disease.
I’d be willing to bet one of my toes that it would be SIGNIFICANTLY LESS than the count for a corresponding YTD figure for earlier years.
