First of all, the stands are currently empty other that players and team employees (and the “cardboard-Americans” being canvassed for Democrat votes). Secondly, the tv folks normally don’t show the national anthem before regular season games so we’d have to wait until the playoffs to know if they’re still kneeling. If the networks *are* showing kneeling players, then you know this is a decision by the liberal networks more than the players themselves and done to rub in the point that the players have become SJWs.

As for football, a satire site claimed that the Steelers would fine any player $1 million who kneeled during the national anthem.

Pittsburgh City Paper:
>>The story is published on dailyworldupdate.us which is labeled clearly as “satire for flat earthers, Trumpsters, and y’all Qaeda.” The headline of the satirical article reads “Pittsburgh Steelers Will Fine ANY Player Kneeling For The Anthem $1 Million.”

(Pitt. radio host John Steigerwald shared the fake story)

But will there be an anthem? On Aug 10 CBS Sports said:
>>NFL will not hold live national anthem performances in 2020 due to COVID-19, per report. The ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic is expected to severely limit, if not eliminate, fan attendance at NFL games during the 2020 season, but fans won’t be the only ones forced to experience game days outside of the stadium.
