I did a search of recent news reports regarding Dr Simone Gold and this is the only one mentioning her name.

Yes, something is very rotten in Denmark.

If Black Lives Matter (BLM), then I believe Senior Citizens Also Matter (SCAM).

Somehow we need to move beyond complaining about the lockdown of HCQ on FreeRepublic and make it a nationwide issue.

big tech, like the criminal GateXi, are pretending
they are doctors.
The FDA should protect Americans from the fake
doctors LIKE THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO,
but instead they (CDC,big tech,F)
murdered the makers of HCQ after they met with GateXi,
and SINCE have used every trick in the book to
take the decision away from physicians.

DEFUND THE FDA.

July 27, 2020, Mobeen Syed, MD, had an early presentation within the first video of the combined efforts by America's Frontline Doctors and Tea Party Patriots Foundation.

Dr. Mobeen Syed's explanation of the mechanisms (plural) of HCQ, re its use-full-ness in the battle against the SARS-2-CoV Coronavirus, by frustrating the attempt by the coronavirus, to use some of a human cell's features for replicating the coronavirus.

I had to watch his "DrBeen" (he is known as, online) explanation of HCQ mechanisms several times, in order to gather his quick English dialect re some of the terminology that he used (egs. mRNA is "messenger RNA").

In the absence of HCQ, and based upon what Dr. Mobeen Syed has explained otherwise (egs. Famotidine), plus some other info (re, of course, vitamins C and D), in combination as Battlefield Expedients:

Famotidine (egs. Pepcid; also under the Equate brand name at Walmart), Zinc (some use Zicam Cold Remedy), vitamin D (some say D3), vitamin C (I am grateful that a variety of fruit is still at the grocery store), avocado oil (flavonoids), avocado tree leaves extract (also green tea) for quercetin, exercise, and sleep, plus plenty of fluids (under stress, some people tend to stop drinking refreshment), good personal hygiene, good mask maintenance . . . all operate in a person's favor.

The hypotheses of the anti-HCQ studies and "studies" - center on the following:

Does Hydroxychloroquine alone, perform as a knockout drug --- attacking the virus in a manner much like, if not exactly the same as, treating a digestive tract parasitic infection with one of the quinine cousins --- about which a medical practioner's guideline can firmly be established?

Answer:

Of course, we have found that Hydroxychloroquine alone, does NOT perform as a knockout drug directly vs the SARS-2-CoV Coronavirus itself.

But we already knew that beforehand, because medical research has known the Hydroxychloroquine mechanisms at and within human cells, those being the battlefields where Hydroxychloroquine indirectly fights the replication purpose of the virus.

There is a distinction between TWO different attack vectors, and those are being confused by what studies "say" and seem to pursue (as reported by the leftist "news" media and Dr. Fauci):

HCQ directly vs a parasite, is the typical support for a guideline that doctors can practice.

HCQ indirectly vs a virus, is a grey area, sometimes murky, but in some cases, apparently worthwhile and doctors find encouraging enough to engage HCQ.

Our interest in Hydroxychloroquine plus Zinc is NOT as a directly offensive weapon against the virus, but as something that indirectly fights the virus at, and within, the human cell as a battlefield, thereby blunting SARS-2-CoV replication.

An explanation of zinc levels, [how zinc is] involved in the loss of taste (a symptom of COVID-19). (h/t ProtectOurFreedom)

Dysgeusia in COVID-19: Possible Mechanisms and Implications, June 2020.

...taste disturbances have included loss of taste (complete ageusia or partial hypogeusia) and altered taste (dysgeusia). For simplicity, we will use the term dysgeusia here to include ageusia and hypogeusia.

A European multicenter epidemiologic study analyzing the prevalence of olfactory and gustatory dysfunctions as a clinical presentation in a cohort of 417 laboratory-confirmed cases of COVID-19 with mild-to-moderate disease presentation reported that 88.8% of patients had gustatory disorders.

Yet another possible mechanism may involve zinc, which is thought to play an important role in taste perception. It is possible that zinc chelation through immune mechanisms and molecules known to increase in concentration with inflammatory processes may result in acute hypozincemia or a more localized change in cellular zinc homeostasis of oral gustatory cells as a result of infection by SARS-CoV-2 virus.

This may result in taste disturbances similar to what has been observed in association with other processes leading to zinc insufficiency.

Some randomized controlled trials have demonstrated benefit of zinc supplementation in patients with taste disturbances. In addition, zinc has been shown to inhibit coronavirus RNA polymerase activity in vitro and is thought to play a role in antiviral immune responses.

Systematic reviews of randomized controlled trials have concluded that zinc lozenges at a dose 75 mg per day or greater may decrease the duration of common cold symptoms in healthy children and adults. Common cold–like illnesses are caused by other coronaviruses, rhinoviruses, and adenoviruses, so there has been interest in using zinc supplements for prevention during the current pandemic.

It is of particular significance that dysgeusia (with or without olfactory symptoms) has been reported as an early or lone symptom of COVID-19 before involvement of the lungs or other organs.

We hypothesize that changes in localized cellular zinc homeostasis in oral gustatory cells resulting from immune responses to SARS-CoV-2 viral replication may result in dysgeusia, which may or may not be accompanied by hypozincemia [zinc deficiency].

If this is the case, the time of onset of dysgeusia may correspond with the time when zinc supplementation in the form of lozenges or syrups may be most effective because this localized delivery of zinc to oral and oropharyngeal mucosae may help control COVID-19 replication at early replication sites.
