The former EDL leader said he was looking into permanently relocating his family after an alleged arson attack on his wife's property a few weeks ago.
Mr Robinson is thought to be in Spain after he told his followers he would be unable to attend a protest in the UK if he returned due to a change in quarantine rules.
Many Twitter users have mocked Mr Robinson for seeking shelter overseas given his strong pro-Brexit and anti-immigration views.
In a video shared online, he said he fled the country in his car and accepted an offer of a place to stay overseas.

Tommy Robinson has done his level best and paid the price. Arm chair quarterbacks judging him disgust me. He has a family to protect as well. I hope he does whatever he feels he needs to do to keep them safe.

So true. Tommy Robinson has done his best but the UK is commiting suicide by leadership and there is nothing to stop it. The Muslims are taking over.
I would guess no one who supports his politics disagrees with him leaving. Leftists however would mock him for this, heck they’d mock him if his family were killed. It’s what conquerers do.

Indeed he might, but maybe the language is harder to learn.
Most people who already saw it are long dead. Brexit comes too late to definitively save the UK. At most it allows for a running start. But Tommy is a good man. Pity to see him go. He might have been useful.
Maybe he would have stayed if he was allowed to defend himself with something more than a turkey baster.
