Ha...in Oregon you have to be hospitalized to get it...and then it likely won’t work, which just proves (for idiots) that HCQ doesn’t work.
I was thinking about the 2-3 states that have that rule. Seems to me, a doctor can admit you to a hospital at his/her discretion, especially one that has a private practice and also works in a hospital. So you might not need to be extreme to be admitted but it might require a 2 day stay or something and that will cost you some money
Like I said, where there's a will, there's a way but it might require doctor shopping which can be difficult if you have insurance and a "primary care" physician. I know it's a pain to swap. Maybe your PCP can give you a reference to an infectious disease specialist. They would be more apt to be up to date on all the regs and any loopholes and might have more clout with the pharmacist. I don't even have insurance or cash to pay a doctor so I'll just have to work through covid if I get it.
Simple solution to the pandemic,,,,Make HCQ and Azithromycin OTC drugs so anyone who develops a cough and/or fever can go the nearest drug store and self medicate with the drugs along with Zinc Sulfate with correct dosage within 48 hours of symptoms and pandemic over.,,,,,instead of waiting a few days to get tested and 5 days for the results,,,,if over 60 years of age,,,,youre dead.
