US Senate looks into actions of Manafort's right hand in Ukraine

The U.S. Senate's Intelligence Committee continues to investigate the links between President Trump's 2016 election campaign members and Russian business and political circles. What especially turned their attention at some point was the close cooperation of campaign leader Paul Manafort and Konstantin Kilimnik, wrote Washington Post.

The Committee's report claims that Konstantin Kilimnik is a "Russian intelligence officer (...) born in Ukraine but attended a military language institute in Moscow from 1987 to 1992 during the collapse of the Soviet Union". Interestingly, Manafort's lawyer refrains from any comments.

"The 50-year-old Kilimnik was Manafort’s right-hand man in Ukraine — “Manafort’s Manafort,” as many in Kyiv described him. He started out in the mid-2000s as Manafort’s primary interpreter, when the American political consultant was hired to run the political campaigns of Viktor Yanukovych, a tough, Kremlin-linked politician from eastern Ukraine. Kilimnik rose to run Manafort’s operations in Ukraine after Manafort helped Yanukovych win the presidency in 2010. When Yanukovych fled the country following a pro-Western revolution in 2014, Manafort and Kilimnik continued to work with pro-Russian Ukrainian parties and politicians", reads the story.

The outlet reports that Kilimnik currently lives in Moscow, refusing to make any public comments ever after the Senate's report was published.

Nice story to cover the Clinesmith guilty plea.

The media will do everything to foster the Russia Hoax and imply that Trump is Putin’s puppet.

Truth means nothing to these people - witness Michelle Obama’s speech on cages that her husband built and used.

witness Bill Clinton saying Trump’s conduct in the White House is “improper”.

witness Kamala Harris’ lies in her acceptance speech

At this point, we need to know exactly WHO are the repubbie GROPElite-insiders on the Senate Intel Committee, and who - if any at all! - are conservatives on the Intel Committee.

The democrats are writing their report - we know that from the words and conclusions written. But WHO is allowing them to do this unchallenged? It would only take 1 or 2 to sabotage the “Senate Report” and produce something that can be used to sabotage Trump. The House members will remain in their totalitarian lock-step goose-marching as long as needed by Pelosi.

The Senate “could be” effective - but each committee seems determined to let ONE GROPElite-Bush-Washington Georgetown remnant to foul up the rest of the world .

It would take 6-8 conservatives to get an honest report and an honest investigation.

Burr is gone now. Little Marco is nominally running the committee. In reality the GOP has outsourced the committee to the minority Democrats. How pathetic is that?

Lankford is no prize but at least he had the honor to quit this committee most likely in disgust.

EXCLUSIVE: The Obama Treasury Department Spied on Flynn, Manafort, and the Trump Family, beginning in December 2015
The Ohio Star ^ | 18 May 2020 | Neil W. McCabe / FR posted by Erik Latranyi

President Barack Obama’s Treasury Department regularly surveiled retired Army Lt. Gen. Michael T. Flynn’s financial records and transactions beginning in December 2015 and well into 2017, before, during and after when he served at the White House as President Donald Trump’s National Security Director, a former senior Treasury Department official, and veteran of the intelligence community, told the Star Newspapers.

“I started seeing things that were not correct, so I did my own little investigation, because I wanted to make sure what I was seeing was correct” she said. “You never want to draw attention to something if there is not anything there.”
The whistleblower said she only saw metadata, that is names and dates when the general’s financial records were accessed. “I never saw what they saw.”

By March 2016, the whistleblower said she and a colleague, who was detailed to Treasury from the intelligence community, became convinced that the surveillance of Flynn was not tied to legitimate criminal or national security concerns, but was straight-up political surveillance among other illegal activity occurring at Treasury.

“When I showed it to her, what she said, ‘Oh, sh%t!’ and I knew right then and there that I was right – this was some shady stuff,” the whistleblower said.’

“It wasn’t just him,” the whistleblower said. “They were targeting other U.S. citizens, as well.”

Only two names are listed in the whistleblower’s official paperwork, so the others must remain sealed, she said. The second name is Paul J. Manafort Jr., the one-time chairman of Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign.

The other names include: Members of Congress, the most senior staffers on the 2016 Trump campaign and members of Trump’s family, she said.(Excerpt) Read more at theohiostar.com ...

The “Members of Congress” being spied upon by Obama could be a goldmine of info.
Betcha good money, Obama was spying on DEMOCRATS.

Was Obama checking to see if Democrats were holding out on his share of the graft?

In today’s America, a president holds the keys to the behemoth federal government....he controls more than the executive branch:
the power to regulate everything on God's good earth and taxation policies that onerously affect every man, woman and child in America.

Not to mention a president's access to the US treasury.......giving him the biggest personal piggy bank on the globe.

The Obama admin quickly took control. Obama placed his COS Rham Emanuel IN the US Treasury----an unusual double job.

"Mr President, you are now in complete control of the US Treasury."

==========================================

THE SMOKING GUN---WSJ REPORT--On Jan 20, 2009 Timothy Geithner was appointed Obama's Secy of the Treasury. But within three weeks, the Obama White House tightened its grip on Treasury. Obama put his COS, Rahm Emanuel, in charge of Treasury---Rahm Emanuel's dual role was an unusual move. When he got to Treasury, WH COS Rahm Emanuel was so involved in the inner workings that the phrase "Rahm wants it" had become an unofficial mantra among subservient govt staffers, prostrate in obeisance, scurrying to accede to Rahm's wishes, according to Treasury government officials. Reported by WSJ / 05/31/09

For anybody who really cares . . .

https://www.nytimes.com/2019/02/23/us/politics/konstantin-kilimnik-russia.html

Excerpt from article

In Kiev, Mr. Kilimnik became a valued source for the political staff of the United States Embassy, because he did not try to sugarcoat the financial motivations of the oligarchs who funded the political parties for which he worked, said David A. Merkel, who handled Ukraine issues as a deputy assistant secretary of state for President George W. Bush.

“The idea that he is some master spy seems hard to fathom,” said Mr. Merkel, who was Mr. Kilimnik’s boss at one of the pro-democracy groups. “I find it much more likely that these guys were pursuing business interests without regard to core patriotic beliefs.”

Kilimnik worked for IRI from 1995 to 2005.

Who is IRI?

John McCain

In 2005 Kilimnik then went to work for Manafort.

They are trying to sell the Russian hoax all over again. Enough of this Bullshit

And so the actual “russia, russia, russia” money, its power, its influence tracks back to Ukraine, to McCain, to Biden, and to Hillary.

Through the Deep State bureaucracies of Obama’s White House.

Did the NY Times admit — and defend — Obama’s spying on Trump?
NYPOST.COM ^ | may 4, 2019 | Michael Goodwin / FR Posted by Liz

The NYT is reporting Obama's FBI sent a “cloaked investigator” to London to meet with Trump aide George Papadopoulos in Sept 2016.....spinning news designed to protect deep-state sources. AG Barr’s promise to investigate the investigators spooked the Deep State. The result is news with a “modified limited hangout” approach, where fragments are presented as revelations while the full picture remains artfully hidden.

The NYT story repeatedly suggests Azra Turk is an FBI agent, but doesn’t say so directly probably means she isn’t. Reporter Adam Goldman, told CNN they called Turk a government investigator “for a reason, and I’m going to leave it at that”.....said the deep-state errand boy. Naturally, all sources are anonymous, identified generally as “people familiar with the operation.” My guess is they include Jim Comey, Andrew McCabe and other dirty cops worried they are in Barr’s crosshairs. They should worry, especially about Barr’s probe into leaks. There is no question that FBI officials were among the same reporters’ sources all along as the Times painted Trump as a Russian agent.

Which is why the NYT assures readers there was nothing amiss in the Obama-ordered spying, arguing that the existence of an “operation aimed at a presidential campaign” reveals “the level of alarm inside the FBI” over Russian efforts to disrupt the 2016 election......an odd and extremely biased way to describe the possibly illegal effort by the Obama admin to spy on the presidential campaign of the opposition. Imagine how that sentence would be written if a Republican president spied on a Democratic candidate. And why are the reporters certain the spying was legitimate and not a plot to stop Trump from being elected? Because their sources say so, making this a powerful example of why the Times was wrong to abolish its standards. (Excerpt) Read more at nypost.com ...

==================================

NYT's seems certain the Obama spying was legitimate and not a plot to stop Trump from being elected.....if that's true why didnt they go after the Russians instead of Trump and his campaign apparat?

The scared-stiff Obama dictatorship feared Trump. The lawless Obama had plenty to hide. They were counting on Hillary to sweep it all under the rug. Obama ordered (A) the entire US intel apparat (created to protect American safety and security), and, (B) suck-up Eric Holder's DOJ, to spy on the Trump campaign, the Trump transition and the Trump presidency.

Explains the goofy OMG face on the goon-faced Halfrican when he met the impressive president-elect.
The dirt Hillary was supposed to sweep under the rug is now in the hands of the man the Halfrican tried to destroy.

"After all we did for her, that lousy Hillary lost. "How’m I gonna get out of the mess I’m in?"
"I know, we’ll invent Russian collusion..lie like crazy...setup Trump to take the blame.”

It should be noted that Burr submitted the report before he left. Several Republicans, including Rubio, included additional views in the report, saying that the report should more clearly state that the Trump campaign did not coordinate with the Russians.

But your point is well taken. It is pathetic that declaring that the Trump campaign did not coordinate with the Russians is an add on, and not the substance of the report. How the Republicans allowed this to happen is a disgrace.

“”witness Bill Clinton saying Trump’s conduct in the White House is “improper””

He didn’t! Did he say that? Tell me he didn’t. Tell me he’s not that far gone also!!!!! I don’t really care but it’s getting harder and harder to believe that these people are so out of it, that they are still on the same planet with the rest of us. Michelle said that President Trump was “in over his head.” You would have to go far to find anything more laughable. If she meant by that, that no one is pulling his strings (or hers) like her husband had, then she’s right.

Don’t any of them listen to themselves? Isn’t there a conscience among the mess of them? I hope someone is putting together a collage from the “best of the best” from this convention to use in the president’s campaign - how about ads?
