• Rioters tearing down monuments and injuring themselves
  
  
• Rioters being hit in the nuts, eyes, or heads by pepperballs, bean bags, or rubber bullets
  
  
• Rioters who immolate themselves with their own fire bombs
  
  
• Criminal rioters run over and injured or killed by panicked motorists as they illegally block roadways

I tend to view all these people with the same degree of compassion I would extend to an insurgent hit with a round in the head that was fired from the weapon of US military personnel he was attempting to kill.

If that makes me a bad person in their eyes, I can live with that.
