Foxx will be re-elected with 75% of the vote - she is running against Patrick O’Brien a Republican who has not campaigned for one second or spent one dime on the election. The Chicago Cops are begging O’Brien to try and run against Foxx, but so far O’Brien has done nothing.

O’Brien has been speaking at fundraisers all this week and was interviewed on Chicago radio this morning. He was a guest on the Laura Ingraham Show and his name has appeared in the Chicago newspapers all week.
It is an uphill battle for a Republican nominee to prevail in Chicago and suburban Cook County, but it has been done occasionally. Given Foxx’s propensity for shooting herself in the foot and her decision to going into hiding ala Joe Biden, there is a remote chance that an upset could occur. Foxx barely managed 50% in the primary.
