An Iowa State University professor is coming under fire after she issued a syllabus threatening discipline against students who undertook projects that opposed Black Lives Matter and abortion. Labeled a "GIANT WARNING," the portion of the syllabus banned "instances of othering," which it defined as "sexism, ableism, homophobia," and a variety of other things. "The same goes for any papers/projects: you cannot choose any topic that takes at its base that one side doesnt deserve the same basic human rights as you do (ie: no arguments against gay marriage, abortion, Black Lives Matter, etc). I take this seriously," it added.

Malcontent hateful little facist
A major freedom of speech violation by State perpetrators. The State College & it’s employee Professor
The school administration spoke in person to the professor and amended her approach. Time will tell if she was listening, or if she added the school to her list of oppressors.
A tuition refund would be in order.
They paid you for your useless services. You take your best shot commie.
The world needs plumbers. Modern Conveniences, it’s a White Thang.
Charge them out the azz for it!!!!
Parents need to quit sending their children to schools like that. Make them pay.
There are too many other good schools out there.
I see this another article where fauxnews.com does not allow comments.
Isn’t this why Roger Williams moved from Massachusetts to Providence?
“Professor”, “University”......nough said.
Gosh, I remember when college professors cheered free thinkers. Now it is the gulag to you. Were I a student, I would probably combine all three into a paper then sue her personally for my tuition payment (and all associated costs) for not grading the paper on its merits.
Then again, likely the university would back her up on this since it’s also probably against university rules as well. Heck, I’d probably be disciplined for calling her a her and violating the university’s gender bias provisions for assuming her presented gender.
Colleges used to be for open minds.
Now they are nothing but fascist breeding grounds to practice lynching with lynch mobs.
The good professor should transfer to the Grievance Studies Dept.
There goes another twit with a Ph.D. that doesn’t understand the Constitution is the Supreme Law of the Land! How could they ever imagine that they’re smart or edumacated?
I think a college perfesser that punishes students of mere thoughts in their head or takes away required classes in young person’s chosen profession (when not supported by displayed lack of merit) should be charged with “deprivation of constitutional rights under color of authority.”
True, so true.
I am sure that this person portrays White men as The Other all the time.

snippeted from the link in the original post for those who don't remember Helen Thomas (consider yourself fortunate and don't google it remember somethings can't be unseen)
That screed from the so-called “professor” clearly identifies he/she/it/whatever as existing in one of the non-academic silly studies departments. One will learn nothing there. Actually, one stands a fair chance of learning nothing during four years of undergrad life. (Oh, forgot, with the new “intellectuals” it takes many more years than that to earn a worthless degree.)
An then they’ll tell you they are progressives who know “science” - even though they can barely spell it.
If I had a professor that looked like that, I would enroll in another school!
