I am completely ok with a business not allowing any writing on clothing. That is completely different from choosing which causes are worthy to be worn and which are not. Goodyear goofed. Maybe other businesses will learn from this.

Goodyear goofed? What an understatement.

Goodyear clearly supports terrorist, Communist, anarchist and sexual deviates, but not the cops or wearing a hat that supports America? I hope that company goes bankrupt bellyup!

Yep. Just dump the slogans all together, not just allow only certain slogans.

Excellent, excellent point.

Many businesses bar all political expression on clothing so as to avoid any arguments or discord at the worksite. Where Goodyear screwed-up is that they are either so terrified of Black Lives Matter (or so politically correct that they refuse to see that they are political) that they exempted them from the ban.

Policy consistency is HR 101 and Goodyear had to have hired some real idiots to let this happen.
