Are you telling me to get my Popcorn out from the cupboard?
Like I said two weeks ago here, Republicans aren’t qualified to be AGs, they are unable/unwilling to uphold the rule of law. Unless, of course it is a fellow Repub they’re going after, then of course they will make an example of the terrible offending criminal,ie: Roger Stone
Got luv Republicans don’t you, they’re just some kind of special, they are.
according to most articles I’m seeing. They list Kolfage as Miramar, FL and Bannon as DC
So every charity organizer who draws their salary from donations is liable to be arrested?
If he did it, lock him up. If it is a false accusation, lock his accuser up.
not relevant? If only Rudy G was AG.. Difference? OH yeah.
He’s stomped those paths many times.. Bannon is chump change.. and proved it if all charges or any hold up.
Didn’t the same court indite the NRA? My question is, can any district indict any entity they want?
Why is the Southern District of NY involved?
If one was smart, they would not be “registered” in NY. Right?
To be fair, I have to admit I have only the faintest idea how that all works.
I understand that if there is a federal investigation such as Durham has been doing, if they find things they aren’t going to handle at their level, but did find things that are more focused in the area or region, they can refer charges to those offices (such as the Southern District of NY) handle on their own, but that is about the extent of what I know.
This is SDNY-- a Demonrat power base in the Deep State. This is a direct shot at the President, without actually firing at him.
And one more: SDNY of “Justice” Department. A DEMONRAT power base.
I certainly view it that way, as a Demonrat power base...how could I not?
I don’t know about Bannon-he may be guilty, he may not, I don’t know.
But If I am used to seeing politically motivated prosecutions issuing forth from a specific location over and over again...one more from them leaves me thinking it is political, reality or not.
That’s what “looks like a message is being sent” meant. Really in two directions: Trump (i.e. “you’re next”) and just as importantly to any non-deep state hacks that might be considering working for him: ‘you will be targeted for a life in prison and we will find a way to make it happen whether you ever committed a crime or not.’
What a precise condensation of what the Bannon arrest is really about.
It's the post of the week !

Apparently Strauss was NOT appointed by Barr. She was deputy AG and is now acting AG until the post is filled, which requires senate approval. From wikipedia. I know wikipedia sucks, but this is pretty straightforward.
On June 19, 2020, Attorney General William Barr announced that Berman had stepped down from his position as U.S. Attorney for the Southern District.[16] In response, Berman released a statement that he had not resigned and would not, claiming that, as he had been nominated by a committee of judges on the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, he would not leave his position until a successor was confirmed by the U.S. Senate.[17] On June 20, Barr stated that the President had fired Berman, adding, “By operation of law, the Deputy United States Attorney, Audrey Strauss, will become the Acting United States Attorney,” serving until a nominee is confirmed by the Senate.[18] Berman then agreed to step down.[2][19]
I hear you and feel totally the same.
If Biden gets in- going to be a repeat with AG/DOJ as with Obama admin. Sally Yates and Keith Ellison being talked about for AG.
