I’m just a stones throw west of Minneapolistan. People here are really tired of it all.
A friend of mine has had Vikings season tickets forever. Never misses a game. He said he won’t go this year. Too dangerous down there, he says. Also the kneeling thing was the final straw.
Many people from the American part of the state used to come down and spend weekends in the city. Nobody wants to do that anymore. It’s not worth getting shot over.
I guess letting people burn Minneapolis down while Democrats everywhere praised the people doing the burning hasn’t gone over that well in Minnesota.
In fairness, it was Mondale's home state. So Reagan wasn't too upset to lose that one state. All the others he lost though .... uh, actually there were no others! :-)

Minnesota was the home state of the exciting, dynamic Dem candidate Walter Mondale. His crowd thrilling career began in Ceylon,MN and his mother's maiden name was Claribel Hope. Rough start.
I would bet that he is in Maine and NH. I kind of doubt NV because there hasnt been the riots there, and ORE? I dunno.
I am kind of anxious to see how well the riots and burning are gonna go over with the population in general there come the elections.
