Yep, you got it. You can figure as a minimum, there’s going to be twenty states that can’t complete the requirement for the Electoral College. The House will meet (with a new incoming crowd) in January.

The problem here, the voting mess will extend to House members as well, and I would imagine at least two-dozen members unable to get verified as the winner.

All of this will lead to a 2021 drama of re-writing the Constitution...to attempt a change eliminating the Electoral College. But at the same time, the discussion will center on a national ID card, and permanently eliminating mail-in-ballots.

If you thought things were screwed up now....just wait, it’s going to be ten times worse.

No. The votes will be counted. Any state that doesn’t certify its electors by Dec. 13 will not have its EVs counted.

This is both in the Constitution and, in case you forgot, already CONFIRMED by the USSC in Bush v. Gore.

The states know this. A Fed judge in PA already ruled that mail-ins can only be counted for three days after the election.

So if CA and NY don’t count,fine. Trump wins a massive landslide.
