It’s not going to matter if Vet bought his boat with $600k he made from trading Amazon BEFORE the conspiracy. All that would mean is that he might not have to give it up since it wasnt bought with ill gotten gains in a criminal conspiracy to commit fraud.
Although, he might have to sell it for restitution for the cosmetic surgery on his wife.
And if he put $100k from the money laundering in an account with $100k from trading profits...and then bought 100k ferrari..the ferrari will get taken
