“The father-in-law of UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s closest aide ...”

This is what passes for a reliable source in the print media these days?

People who came as close to edge as Boris have a very very high rate of lingering damage. Possibly permanent.

Based on studies I’ve read

reported a conversation between Humphry Wakefield, the father of Dominic Cummings' wife, Mary, and a woman named Anna Silverman last week in which he is said to have told her that Johnson would resign early next year because of the lasting effects of his time in intensive care.

My best friend’s sister’s boyfriend’s brother’s girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who’s going with a girl who saw Ferris pass-out at 31 Flavors last night. I guess it’s pretty serious.

He’s been a complete failure on stopping illegal immigration invasion into Britain. Actually putting up migrant scumbags in hotels and arresting people who try and film it.

IF ... IF ... this were true, the Brits have a big problem. Boris is the closest PM since Winnie.

He may resign, but it won’t be because of lingering damage from COVID 19.
It will be because of his In-ability to reign in illegal immigration.
He has been a failure as PM.
I had high hopes for him.

Fake news abounds. I want to know when Biden will step aside, that would be a more believable story.

Doesn’t pass the smell test. If you’re sick and not up to the job, then why wait six months?

An odd announcement if it did happen. Why say he’ll resign in six months due to lingering effects of COVID? Sort of rules out the possibility that he might improve significantly over the next six months.

This would make some sense, especially because after a hard Brexit, Johnson will be a huge target for the remainers. But if he resigns and designates a hard core Brexiteer as his replacement, it will solve a lot of problems.

The “new guy” can then purge any remaining problems from the government starting with a clean slate.

This makes NO sense. If he was that ill, he’d resign now, how does he know how he’ll feel in 6 months? There’s not a one of us who knows whether or not we’ll live to see 6 days from now, but almost all of use will be feeling alright in half a year’s time.
