I think you can only point to Thune in either 2000 or 2002; Rossi in that same time period, and perhaps (still not proven) McSally in 2018 as elections decided by fraud. Oh, and all mail ins are received first (even with dribblers) it’s not like Ds can “make it up” after they “learn the real number.”
And precisely because Witless Protection is the gov, I think the GOP will be extra energetic in monitoring fraud.
