Kenosha police and United States Marshals on the evening of Wednesday August 26, 2020 responded to a citizen tip that several suspicious vehicles with out of state plates were meeting in a remote lot near State Highway 50 and Green Bay Road.
Police located the suspicious vehicles and took up surveillance, assisted by the United States Marshals. The vehicles were a black school bus, a bread truck and a tan minivan. Kenosha police confirmed that the vehicles had out of state license plates, and followed the vehicles as they traveled to a gas station near Washington Road and 30th Avenue. Police observed the occupants of the black bus and bread truck exit and attempt to fill multiple fuel cans.
Law enforcement officers suspected that the occupants of the vehicles were preparing for criminal activity related to the civil unrest, and attempted to make contact with the vehicle occupants and investigate the scene.
The law enforcement officers, while wearing proper identification exited their vehicles, identified themselves, and then detained the occupants of the bus and bread truck.
The driver of the minivan attempted to drive away; however, Kenosha police officers stopped the vehicle and ultimately forced entry into the minivan and arrested the occupants.
The vehicles contained helmets, gas masks, protective vests, illegal fireworks, and suspected controlled substances.Nine individuals were arrested accused of disorderly conduct, and are pending charging decisions by the Kenosha County District Attorney, according to the Kenosha Police Department.

Seems simple enough. Confiscate all their belongings, including cars, cell phones, and even the clothes on their back, put them in a big pile and light it on fire. Spread the word that it will happen to anyone aiding in arson.

Burning the stuff is symbolic, but the people who bought it have a lot more money where that came from. They must be tracked down and nailed for conspiracy to riot and sedition (and I bet a whole lot of other things which would be found if anyone looked).
Everybody needs to start being on the lookout for gatherings of “out-of-state” vehicles.

Damn straight! What puzzles me though is that every beleaguered city has undercover cops that serve as criminal intel units whether they're called that or not. How hard is it to follow antifa back to their buses, vehicles and get tag numbers, photos of them boarding and trace back to find ownership/rental data.
Yet the riots have been going on for days. I understand the brass are following their political masters but surely there must be enough disaffected cops that can gather this intel and pass it on...or has the entire LE system nation wide been corrupted?
Surely there has been enough public information to warrant at least a preliminary Federal look see as to who is providing funding, logistical and training support. We're not talking about isolated cells here.
Where are these guys getting 1.3g commercial grade fireworks? Those are not easy to get and you can’t just go to your local fireworks store to get them. The process to get those is similar to getting NFA firearm items.
They should have tossed a highway flare in and called it a day.

Those are probably regular 2 inch mortars that you can buy at most firework stands these days. $10-$20 bucks for 12 shot pack.
No it’s not, according to hubs and son, it’s a older bluebird school bus remodeled into a kitchen. They have the maintenance contract for the local school district, so they know buses pretty well. Plus they are serious gearheads.
If I caught my hubs looking at women like he looks at cars...

Apparently the FIB is useless against domestic terrorists. The President should open a tip line at the White House to collect the info the FBI is responsible for in no-politicized times. Then Trump can pass it on to his DHS for action.
