There was an article earlier that said the postponement was so that Kyle could get private counsel as opposed to the public defender automatically assigned. This is pretty standard and even more so in an extradition case.

L. Lin Wood or one of his team will represent but that takes a little time. Court date postponements always run from 2 weeks to a month. They have a docket and fit a postponed case at the end of it. First come first serve type of thing. Wheels of Justice turn slow etc.

No just the realization that Rittenhouse is entitled to the legal representation of his choice, and a public defender isn't it.
