A Kent State moment will hurt the POTUS, and it is what the Left wants.
FReepers forget that Wisconsin elected and retained solid conservative, Scott Walker, as governor despite 2 recall efforts.
Trump is showing the people of Wisconsin, who supported Walker, that Republicans will not allow anarchy while the Democrats in power encourage it.
Not sure it will. People are sick of this and some dead rioters would warm the heart of many.
Nixon was re-elected by a landslide in 1972. Kent State didn’t hurt him too much.

Trump is the fighter we have been waiting for. Trump Derangement Syndrome is caused by his willingness to take the fight back to his detractors, who have never once had to deal with pushback from a Republican.
Agree. He absolutely must go to Kenosha. Otherwise he has ceded the city to Communist insurgents and essentially announced that he surrenders.
People in Kenosha - the store owners crying in the streets over their destroyed businesses, the parents terrified that their homes will be burned down with their children inside, the innocent passers by harassed and chased through the streets and the civilians beaten and even shot for trying to protect their lives and neighborhood in the intentional absence of police protection - need to see that the President is not throwing them to the wolves but that he will have US forces defend them just as they did when retaking a town captured by Al Qaeda. And yes, this is that serious.
I will not pretend to understand the way President Trump thinks, other then to point out the obvious that he will often do the unexpected.

In fact, that was probably their original game plan -- when it was reported a few days ago that Biden was going to emerge from hibernation and travel to Kenosha today. That plan was quashed when the Democrats realized how awful it would look to have Biden show up on Monday and Trump show up on Tuesday to ridicule him and Gov. Evers for inciting the violence in the first place.
Columnist Salena Zito hit the nail on the head a couple of days ago when she suggested that Kenosha will be a turning point in the campaign -- because it's Kenosha. Nobody gives a sh!t about riots in Seattle or Portland -- because they're leftist sh!t-holes anyway. But even though most Americans couldn't find Kenosha on a map and have no idea that it's a city of 100,000 people, the mere mention of "Kenosha, Wisconsin" evokes images of small, mostly-white Midwestern towns where riots aren't supposed to occur. That kind of imagery is going to resonate with even the most vapid, infantile suburban Karen all over the U.S.

We have watched white radical marxists on college campuses shutdown conservative speakers, in some cases even chase them off the stage and eliminate it entirely.
If there is trouble it won’t be from the black community. We all know that or should be starting to realize that as we watch mobs of mostly white youth in the streets.
This trip is more than a photo-op. It is more than a sympathetic conversation with the Mayor. I’d love to type more of what I am thinking, but...loose lips sink ships. Trump is a master negotiator...think about it.
We have a very brave President.

I hope Trump brings all of the counter assault teams with him. Situation and mission dictates how many are activated for training, vacation, pre-deployments, etc.
Perhaps the gubnar should have showed up there first ... but he did not as far as I know. Really bad optics ... why did the gubnar go to Kenosha? One reason is it would expose him further as to how weak he is, and that he is aligned with the criminals.
Make no mistake about it, the demonkraps believed that the riots would be blamed on Trump so Biden would win ... they don’t care if their own local constituents suffer, die, or lose their property, live in fear in the process, even at the hands of out of towner, punk commies. This is evil.
