I wonder if the motivation for the attack is 'unknown'?

I like the Israeli response to this kind of attack :
they deport the entire family
they confiscate all their worldly possessions
they are returned to the country from which they came, as vagabonds .
If someone in their family is radicalized, and the family didn't report their concerns to the authorities,
then it it assumed that the entire family is radicalized and unsuitable.
Recidivism and re-occurrence is non-existent.
