Markey has been a red almost since he got into Congress. I would have preferred a dumbassed Kennedy because it would knock Markey out of his seniority power positions.
Markey ain’t no prize either.
Kennedy should go third party in the General. He can do it!

The awesome part... He gave up his secure and steady income as a congressman to try and unseat a geezer... And now he’s unemployed.
AOC, AOC... Now if the Republicans are smart, they’ll show her in every commercial they run against Sleepy Ed Markey. Young radical left wing socialist Democrats love her... Most people in Massachusetts probably do not.
Massachusetts is lost...lost...lost. One can only hope that it continues to lose Congressional seats,as it has for the last 100 years,so it has less and less influence in national politics.
So Ed Markey wasn’t a ‘tomato can’ after all? I’m shocked. He certainly plays the part of ‘Kennedy placeholder’ well in the Duchy of Kennedy.

Former Bay Stater here. A lot of TDS in the State — I know, some of my Mass. family are afflicted.
I was happy to see the Kennedy name defeated. That’s a first step.
When I was growing up on Cape Cod, I seem to remember some newspaper stories about Joe being another “reckless youth”.
As I recall, one summer in Hyannis, he pushed an ice cream cone in a cop’s face. That the sort of repugnant, entitled twerp he was — and probably still is.

There were three primetime televised debates between Markey and Kennedy. Didn't see any against amongst the Repub runners.
His words did intimate that.
Markey makes Ginger Joe look like a conservative.
Jim Polito/WTAG is a fun conservative voice for a morning listen. I usually catch a bit of him and later Jordan Levy when commuting.
No Markey (or Kennedy) fan but have to give Markey credit for a brillant move turning the Kennedy family thuggery right back on Joe. Made for fiesty debates.
