BTW Doc, You complain about having to talk to your kids about what to do when encountering the police as if White folks never have to talk to their children. You couldn't be more wrong. I have instructed my children to follow police instructions and do what they say at all times with the exception of answering questions. For an interrogation they have been instructed to ask for legal representation before answering any questions.
The Lincoln Project are truly the lowest of the low. The post videos on YouTube occasionally, I make sure to tell them what I think of their work in very unflattering terms.
Doc Rivers is normally a level headed good guy, but is completely brain washed with liberal BS...
It was white america that elected Barak Obama twice..
It was white america that allowed Doc Rivers to have a great college and NBA career.
It was white America that hired him as a head coach..
It was white america that educated his kids who went to college on full scholarships...
It was white american that enriched him with money beyond his wildest dreams....
It’s not white america that is killing black men all over the country by the dozens on a weekly basis....
I can go on and on, but he refuses to even look at or consider any of that...

It’s interesting that the title of this thread is a LIE!
The correct title:
The Lincoln Project spins an ad out of NBA coach Doc Rivers’ lament on fear, love, race, and the RNC
BLM is little more than a bunch of thugs with a slogan. The elephant in the room is to ask: Why are blacks discriminated against more than other minorities? Discrimination is a learned behavior and done so by watching what blacks do. A small number make it difficult for all the others. This is a black problem and needs to be addressed from within the black community. I think it went south with Johnson’s War on Poverty that had higher subsidies when the father was not present. That destroyed the black family to the point where 72% of black children don’t have a father in the home. It takes no brains to be a father, but being a parent is difficult and I don’t see back fathers stepping up to raise their kids and be a parent. Even worse, I don’t see the black community condemning the father.
Just a script written to convey what was said at the convention regardless of the content. He clearly did not watch the convention. That was not the tone nor the messaging as anyone watching would know. It was inspiring American stories.
