This story seems like something they cooked up last year, all excited to release and hammer on before the election, attacking Trump at his base.
I just do not see how anyone who is patriotic, traditional, and pro military would ever think that Trump is anything but patriotic, traditional, and pro military, nor could they ever be persuaded that Biden is.
It’s a real cognitive dissonance type of news story. They are waisting their time hammering on it, I bet most people are just tuning out.
With all the important news events happening, for them to just keep pushing it has to make even casual observers notice the media’s partisan propaganda efforts.
I think overall it makes the Dems look bad. It’s like, “Is that all you’ve got?”
It's interesting to gauge how much this has really backfired. I have no doubt here's a litany of similar stories that were cooked up in anticipation of this working. Like Rush says, it's straight out of the playbook, and the playbook hasn't changed. What's putting them over the top is that Trump is making them have to change the playbook and they are not that creative!
