So hes suspended from school
Hes taking classes AT HOME
i would seriously sue the school, the principal, and the teacher
Normal intelligent people only have to take so much bs before its time for a lawsuit against the real crazies

Dunno...you’d have to ask a lib.
I suspect that he cannot participate in any on-line classes for 5 days.
It’s the Principal that should be “permanently suspended”, not the kid.

Hey, if you’re going to get suspended, anyway, you might as well handle an AR-15. :)

I hope christian kids start putting up big crosses/crucifixes (gory ones) on the wall behind them so its on camera - maybe the Our Father in big letters.
Make them voice their opposition to God. Try to make them take it down, in their own house after this lockdown was mandated - good times.

WTF is wrong with our education, law enforcement, and protective services institutions? This is horrifying from every angle, that a kid and his parents are subject to no-notice household investigation by the thought police for an admittedly TOY GUN.
Lawsuit time biggly...

I was just telling my son of the same age this story. He laughed.
Earlier this evening we were reviewing operational procedures for a bolt action 30-06.
I do not think today’s Americans could win a war.

The gov will eventually claim property rights over areas/zones within the parents’ homes.

Reminds me of when I skipped school to get a replacment engine for my car. I got caught and they suspended me 3 days. I was grateful for the 3 days they gave me to fix my car.

The El Paso County Sheriffs Office was also asked to do a welfare check at the boys home without notifying his parents beforehand.
Folks, now why does that happen? The answer is that if something does happen, who’s fault will it be? It will be the police fault. The police checking the box that they did something protects them.............................

Why did his parents send him to public school? You think they’d know better.

The telephones are still working during all this COVID business. E-mails and Text Messages too. Did it even occur to this teacher that she could have contacted the parent directly, privately and asked about that
‘disturbing display’ in the child’s room?
This only destroys the trust a lot of parents like having with their children’s teachers.
“Your teacher didn’t even show me the courtesy of a direct phone call. She went straight to the Sheriff, scaring the heck out of the whole family. Your teacher is not on our side.”

Suspend kid for toy gun but lit rioters looters and arsonists go free. Good to see that the government has its priorities straight. Burning businesses is ok but dont let your kid play with a toy gun. The Democrat Version of the second amendment reads The right to destroy other peoples property shall not be infringed.
