All right, all you activists: It’s been nine years since we set off the political earthquake of #OccupyWallStreet, laying siege to NYC’s Zuccotti Park and inspiring thousands of similar protests around the world.
The Occupy anniversary arrives September 17th, 2020. And it may be the perfect day to trigger another global big-bang moment — a massive collective action of the sweetest kind of disobedience.
The why hardly needs recitation. Because, for these nine years, the shadows have only grown longer. Inequality has soared. Not a single Wall Street CEO spent a night in jail for his role in the 2008 financial meltdown. Politicians and corporate criminals continue to savage the public trust with impunity. And all the while, this howling void of a president, his sins too many to name, sits smugly atop a corona death-toll that may surpass two-hundred thousand Americans by Christmas.
It’s time again for dramatic, decisive action. Which is why, on September 17th, in the original and enduring spirit of Occupy, we and tens of thousands of our fellow citizens will stream into Lafayette Square, in Washington. D.C.
We will lay siege to the White House. And we will sustain it for exactly fifty days. This is the #WhiteHouseSiege.
A siege only works if it is sustained. We witnessed this — the multiplying power of a strategic occupation — nine years ago. You dig in, hold your ground, and the tension accumulates, amplifies, goes global.
Fifty days — September 17th to November 3rd.
Let us once again summon the sweet, revolutionary nonviolence that was our calling card in Zuccotti Park.
#WhiteHouseSiege will electrify the U.S. election season — and it doesn’t stop there. Drawing wind from #MeToo, #BLM, #ExtinctionRebellion, and protests against Trump’s lethal bungling of coronavirus, we’ll inspire a global movement of systemic change — a Global Spring — a cultural heave towards a true world order.

We need to organize a group to go down to the park and counter them. We've been talking about re-activating the chapters. This could be a good chance to do so.
BTW, ironically, September 17 is Constitution Day.
This is really what the riots are about. It’s been 9 years and the socialists haven’t made far enough inroads into the system, so they’re taking this opportunity to try again. Except they’re using racism in hide beneath because everyone is too afraid of being called racist if they speak up.
This is easy to thwart.
Deny the siege any public utilities.
Prohibit delivery of any supplies.
Prohibit any service of porta potties.
Constant overflights of drones, and maybe Hueys, cuz they are loud in hover.
Restrict them to a free speech area that allows freedom of assembly for others.
Shine hyper-bright lights on them 24x7.
Match the decibels they produce with a counter sound.
Once they run out of food, water, sanitation and sleep, many will want to leave. Have the authorities process them for health and safety VERY SLOWLY, one at a time, when they want to leave.
Let them protest and make them miserable
I hope the White House is paying attention and has taken precautions. We have the advantage that the communists are so very arrogant, they telegraph their ‘Invasion’ plans weeks in advance. This date; Sept. 17th, has been talked about since early July. These people are not kidding and must be taken as a serious threat.
Because that might work it will never happen.

IF I were of a mind to offer advice to these Communists, it would be “Bonus Marchers”. Washington, DC is FEDERAL property; not state or city. The military can, should and will be used to break up any “siege “. And it won’t be pretty.

I would love to see some heads busted if they take up occupancy in Lafayette Park but who’s going to do it? Certainly not the DC police under that wretched mayor and it’s probably not their jurisdiction anyway, is it? Nothing to stop the president from calling in the National Guard before they even have time to unload their vehicles.

I have been under CH-47, CH-53s and old school UH-1s, all in a flat hover at about 30 - 50 feet and the CH-47 was the loudest by a large margin.
Ease a couple of those in about 3am on a regular basis to enhance the quality of their nap time.

That worked, didn’t it but it wasn’t warranted in my book...It is warranted in this scenario BUT I don’t think there’s any military officer today with the guts that is needed to clean the nest of rats out. We don’t have any MacArthurs - even tho’ I disagree with the method from that period. Look at the ones who have turned on our president.
