Even a lawyer with much less ability than a Perry Mason would easily get such a declaration laughed out of court. However, that is exactly the assertion that John King made on CNN's Inside Politics on Sunday when he declared there was something somehow significant by the fact that two generals (actually three according to the chyron) have remained silent on the Atlantic magazine charge that President Donald Trump called fallen veterans "suckers" and "losers."

And the fact that Kelly’s OWN assistant said this story is BS apparently means NOTHING to CNN..maybe just maybe commie news network, those generals dont say anything because they have better things to do with their time than respond to nonsense
Active duty Generals aren’t allowed to be involved in politics.
The technique here is to smoke the room with doubt and keep the story alive. The longer it lives the more people believe all or part of it it is true. At the very least the story killed the great unemployment number that hit Thursday. Biden numbers are not tanking at all and time is running out. If I was on Biden’s
team I would find a way to avoid any debate at this point.

Just because the generals haven’t said anything doesn’t mean you assume what their answer would be. That’s called making up “evidence” or “facts”.

I think it was W that they had contrived a story about and it was quickly proven false but the LIBs continued the investigation because the ALLEGATION was so severe that they HAD to investigate it.
